Zero is 3!
Unlike the last post, this one is a quick one! March 8th was Zero’s 3rd birthday! I can’t believe he turned 3! He had a great day.
Zero had a snuggly morning. He woke me up around 8am and I fed him his birthday breakfast, and then I went back to bed. He let us sleep in and I woke up later to see him sleeping at my feet like he used to back in the day. Way back when he was half his current age, he was all about sleeping at the foot of the bed.

After we ate a late breakfast, I presented Zero with his grand birthday lunch, served in the bowl I made him at Nanaimo Ceramic Arts. I smushed up a little bit of tuna, sprinkled with dry food and garnished it with a cucumber slice.
Cucumber Tales

As Zero munched away, I told Random Guy about how Zero used to love cucumber. I would cut the cucumber into slices, and then into 4 slices, like a pizza. I would hold the peel side, and he would lick the seedy good part out.
After sharing this, I looked back in the bowl. To my surprise, the bowl was empty. I was expecting the cucumber skin to remain. I laughed as I picked up the bowl, picturing him swallowing the cucumber slice whole in his excitement of the tuna lunch surprise. Either way, he was a happy boy.
What a Day
After filling his cute little stomach, he escaped to the basement, to have a bath and get cozy in the heat of the fire.
